New harvest, unfiltered olive oils like this one are traditionally only available in limited quantities in France. Due to our long-standing relationship with Alziari, we're excited to be able to offer this oil as a pre-order to our customers for the first time this year.
Harvested in the fall of 2024, this is some of the freshest olive oil you can get your hands on—A perfect gift for any olive oil connoisseur! Made from the Cailletier variety of olive, this vibrant green oil boasts a fresh, fruity aroma, with vegetal notes of grass and tomato leaves and hints of green apple and banana. Its bitterness, though not dominant, adds complexity, while a slight spiciness on the finish enhances the whole flavor experience. Milled using cold extraction.
Because this is an unfiltered oil, it's best used within 6 months of purchase and stored away from light and heat.
Please note that this is a pre-order: the product is scheduled to arrive to us after Christmas and will be shipped out to customers in early January 2025.
