Description
The Gravenstein apple, sought after by chefs for its fragrant, juicy, tart-sweet flavor, was first planted in California in the 1700's. Traditionally this heirloom apple is sent to the press to produce fresh cider. They take it from there, slowly converting the juice to an aromatic vinegar in their stone Carriage House.
Taste notes: Elixir redolent of baked apples and honey, balanced with a solid backbone of acidity.
