Description
Maldon sea salt is produced by evaporating the salty waters of the river Blackwater that winds through Essex county in the Southeast of England. The water is filtered and carefully evaporated to create large pyramid shaped crystals that are very thin and light in texture but have a large surface area. The beauty of this salt is in its pure white color and fabulous flaky texture that adds a crunch to whatever it is added it to.
